Do you ever wonder about the people photographed in medical books? What about those portraits where, instead of a name, the legend gives the name of a mental illness?

I do and that is why I draw them in one of my sketchbooks using charcoal. I want all of us to wonder about these people, their lives, their joys, and their suffering. What were their stories? Through these charcoal practices, I want to connect with their stories. I want people to see them as people and not an illustration for a diagnosis.
