TRAUMATISED SELVES
- EXHIBITION 2019
One of my dearest friends, Laura Fischer, an artist and a lecturer and researcher in trauma, gathered a few artists to exhibit together at the Willesden Gallery in London. The exhibition will run from the 19th to the 30th November 2019 and a private view event will be hosted on the 21st November from 6 to 8 pm.

The group exhibition features artists sharing past traumatic experiences through their art. I'm honoured to be among the list of artists and to be trusted to show my story. This exhibition is particularly challenging for me as some of my art means telling of an old secret I was asked to keep, about something that happened to me as a child. I know that I am surrounded by people who are supportive and I cherish our abilities to support one another through this exhibition.

I hope that our art will touch someone's soul and make them feel less alone in their experiences.
